Curdt wins tourney and invite to LPGA event

PGA Master Professional and Swingpal instructor Alison Curdt recently won the Championship Division of the LPGA T&CP Western Section Championship by one stroke.

Along with the hardware and first place check, Curdt received an exemption into the 2012 Wegmans LPGA Championship, which will be played June 7-10 at Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, N.Y.

Congratulations to Alison, who was also the subject of a recent Five Questions blog entry.

Curdt is an LPGA Class A Member who calls the prestigious Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif., home, which is one of the elite private clubs in Southern California and the host course for the Tiger Woods Foundation World Challenge Tournament.
