Tip of the Week: Drive the golf ball better
By Swingpal.com staff
If you ask most golfers what the most important club in the bag is, the answers you get are likely to be split.
Many will say the putter, which of course makes sense. After all, if you can’t get the ball into the hole, shooting good scores is obviously going to be tough.
That said, many golfers would tell you that the driver is the most important club in the bag, and a sound argument can be made for that as well.
While the driver might not be as obvious an answer as the putter, it’s your tee shots that pretty much set up your entire round. If if you can hit the driver long and straight, the game will be far easier.
But if you’re hitting too many balls out of bounds off the tee or find yourself constantly in the trees or deep rough, no matter how well you putt your upside as a player is going to be limited.
With that in mind, Jim Williams is back with a new Tip of the Week video segment and in this edition he’s focusing on how you can drive the ball better.
Enjoy!
